About Kalinga Eye Hospital Trust

Kalinga Eye Hospital Trust (KEHT) conducts 100% FREE eye camps in the rural areas and schools for early identification of treatable and preventable blindness. Comprehensive eye screening camps are regularly conducted in various rural areas in every second Saturday of a month, patients identified for surgery are counselled for treatment and are transported to the like minded charitable Hospitals, who conduct surgeries under the NPCB and dropped back after the surgery. Camp patients, pre operatively, are assessed by doctors. Patients are provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner during their stay at Charitable Eye Hospitals. Post operative follow up checkups are organized by the camp organizer to ensure continuity of care.
